This mosaic dataset is a combination of two 4-band orthoimagery acquisitions conducted by Ayres Associates as part of WROC.<\/SPAN><\/P>

The six-inch pixel resolution aerial imagery was collected on March 11th using a Leica Geosystems DMC III sensor mounted in a fixed-wing aircraft. Aerial imagery was collected to support 0.5 foot ground sample distance (GSD) orthoimagery to meet ASPRS Class II horizontal accuracy specifications at 1\" = 100' map scale. The 6-inch pixel orthoimagery was produced to meet or exceed a horizontal accuracy of 1.4 feet RMSE according to ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards for Digital Geospatial Data. Resultant orthoimagery was rectified to a DEM created from LiDAR collected in 2020. Orthoimagery was delivered in PLSS section GeoTiffs, MrSID tiles, and a project-wide MrSID mosaic. The orthoimagery was delivered according to a PLSS section tile schematic. The project area covers approximately 736 square miles.<\/SPAN><\/P>

The 3-inch pixel resolution aerial imagery along the central corridor was collected on March 15th and 20th using a Microsoft Vexcel UltraCam Eagle M3 sensor mounted in a fixed-wing aircraft. Aerial imagery was collected to support 0.25 foot ground sample distance (GSD) orthoimagery to meet ASPRS Class II horizontal accuracy specifications at 1\" = 50' map scale. The 3-inch pixel orthoimagery was produced to meet or exceed a horizontal accuracy of 0.7 foot RMSE according to ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards for Digital Geospatial Data. Resultant orthoimagery was rectified to a DEM created from existing LiDAR acquired in 2020. Orthoimagery was delivered in PLSS quarter-section GeoTiff and MrSID tiles and a project wide MrSID mosaic. The project area covers approximately 180 square miles.<\/SPAN><\/P>

Supplemental Information: The Wisconsin Regional Orthoimagery Consortium (WROC) is a multi-entity group of county members and partners led by regional planning commissions (RPCs) and WROC representatives from Ayres Associates.
